LLM studentship programme
The LLM Studentship Programme aims to support black South African students to complete a Masters degree in law at a South African university. The degree may be completed by dissertation or coursework. In the case of a coursework LLM, the majority of the subjects taken must fall within SAIFAC’s core areas. Where the LLM is completed by dissertation, the dissertation must fall wholly within SAIFAC’s core areas. The Studentship comprises university tuition fees, research expenses and a quarterly stipend. Together with the Doctoral Fellows, LLM Students are provided with office accommodation at SAIFAC, and are expected to take part in the intellectual life of the institute. The Director of SAIFAC provides additional mentoring support, and may act as supervisor or co-supervisor of the student’s LLM dissertation.
If you are interested in participating in this programme, please e-mail SAIFAC on info@saifac.org.za.
